Killer night at the Gov on Sunday to see RIPPER OWENS and 2 local supports. SKYHAMMER kicked off proceedings in fine style. First time I’ve seen them for a while. They certainly appreciated the support and had a great time. NAKATOMI PLAZA welcomed us to the party and played their unique blend in aggressive fashion. Lastly RIPPER OWENS brought the scream to Adelaide. He liked the venue, everybody had a fine time. It was good to hear some songs from his era of Priest. It is a sometimes overlooked era, one he doesn’t get enough thanks for, he took on a tough job and did it admirably. If you didn’t go, maybe next time you get the chance, take it.
