A crazy night at the double album launch gig on Friday night at The Gov. HIDDEN INTENT and HEADBORE both launched new albums in fine style. 2 extra bands got things going, first local boys DENAZEN got things off and running. This energetic 3 piece launched proceedings in fine style. Next up was the craziness of PIZZA DEATH. I’ve only seen these Melbourne lads once before, at Froth & Fury, so I was keen to see them again. They didn’t disappoint. HEADBORE took to the stage next and played the best set I’ve seen them play. The new tracks went off live, which was good to see. HIDDEN INTENT were up next and played the thrash like only they can, tracks off the new album sounding mean, very mean. All in all, a great night. My camera got a workout. It was the first night with my new fish-eye lens. Still working it out, but you can see the results below. Enjoy.
