Okay, so these guys from Germany are good. I get quite a few emails right. I sift through them as best I can. Every now and then, one stands out above the rest. So it is with SKULL & CROSSBONES. They play Metal, a modernised traditional style in my eyes, that statement probably doesn’t even make sense, but often the same can be said of me. There’s some Power Metal elements in there, but they’re not locked down into that style. Musicianship is TOP NOTCH, vocals are EXCELLENT, in fact any member of this band could slot into any ridiculously well-known band and make the position their own. The album is full of bangers, the songs stick in your head. You’ll find yourself reaching for this album again and again.
