Those Swedish masters of Gothic Doom/Death Metal, DRACONIAN, have unleashed another slab of goodness upon us. It’s entitled ‘In Somnolent Ruin’ , and it is calling you to check it out now. A bit has happened since the last one. They have a new guitarist, Niklas. Daniel has moved from guitar to bass, and Lisa Johansson (vocalist from 2002-2011) has returned. Vocals are shared between Lisa and Anders, and it works beautifully, the harshness of Anders and the almost angelic Lisa. Songs are on the slower, crushing and soulful side.
