CRADLE OF FILTH / DEVILDRIVER co-headline tour. Sounded a bit strange when it was announced but it was a very, very cool night’s entertainment indeed. I like gigs with only 2 bands, the first band gets a decent length set where they have got time to get loosened up properly and not be rushing. Such was the case with DEVILDRIVER. They had a great time and I was very impressed with the groove generated. Dez is an excellent frontman who knows how to get the crowd on his side. It was great to watch. Plenty of fan favourites were played and the crowd reacted accordingly. Next up, CRADLE OF FILTH. I’ve seen them a few times now and they are always entertaining. A setlist full of crowd favourites, the whole band in fine form, very theatrical, yet intense at the same time.
