Late last week the MONSTERS OF THRASH tour came through Adelaide and it was a scene, man!
Sydney’s LIVEWIRE opened the show. Man, these guys are killer! A fast and furious set. I wish they’d come back here more often. Their new album is out now, check it out.
HIDDEN INTENT were up next and delivered, as they always do, a killer set of their own classics. These boys never fail. They’re a well-oiled machine.
Australia’s own thrash legends from back in the day, MORTAL SIN, up again and firing on ALL cylinders delievered the own action packed set. Favourite after favourite blasted out of the Lion Arts PA, and yeah, it was loud.
Then, the mighty FLOTSAM & JETSAM graced us with their presence, on their first ever tour of Australia. They opened with Hammerhead, and closed with Desecrator. I mean, how can you go wrong? A hard hitting (between the eyes in fact) set that I won’t forget in a hurry.
