Saturday night saw the first heat to select a local band (or bands, we don’t know yet) to be added to the bill for the 2027 FROTH AND FURY FESTIVAL at the Showgrounds. Six bands strutted their stuff for the chance to advance. The lineup for this heat was very diverse, a broad range of styles on offer. Each band brought their own crowd too, which was good to see. The Gibson Room at The Gov was packed from start to finish. All bands performed well. Two bands were selected by votes of a judging panel and crowd votes to advance to the final, those bands being BIOME and TV THERAPY. I took a heap of photos, as you would expect, and you can see them below. Get along to the 2 remaining heats.
Cheers.
