After a big line-up change where no-one seemed to know what was going on for ever, METAL CHURCH came out with a new album. It’s called ‘Dead To Rights’ and it’s pretty cool. It took me a couple of listens but I urge you to check it out. New vocalist, Brian Allen, has that ‘legacy’ sound, which causes the occasional double take when listening. Music is hard and aggressive and it chugs along well. Bassist is Dave Ellefson, whom we all know from early MEGADETH, and on drums is Ken Mary from 2 of my favourite bands, FIFTH ANGEL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM. They fit in as you would expect.
