On Wednesday, May 8th, Greek Black Metal Titans, ROTTING CHRIST, laid waste to Lion Arts Factory in spectacular fashion, with the best in-your-face set of Black Metal I’ve seen. It was pummelling from the get-go.
Adelaide’s FREEDOM OF FEAR (Tech / melodic / blackened death metal) and DIABOLIC RITES (Sado-Black-Metal) provided perfect support, the ideal bands to be featured on the bill.
DIABOLIC RITES set the tone for the night early on with a loud and brutal set. FREEDOM OF FEAR upped the ante with their technical spin on the brutality, before ROTTING CHRIST finished us off. Wow. What a night.
