ALMOST HUMAN / HIDDEN INTENT / EMERGENCY RULE / SHARP SHOOTER
I rocked along to the first of 2 nights at the Woodshed to celebrate the venue’s 2nd birthday. 4 bands were featured and it was a massive night. A good sized crowd came along to participate in the proceedings and they were treated to a great night. First up was local Speed Metal 3 piece, SHARP SHOOTER, rocking out with a great selection of metal, including a Venom cover, can’t remember hearing a band cover Venom, so props to them. Next up, EMERGENCY RULE, tight, melodic, sleazy, hard hitting old school 70s influenced Heavy RAWK. They sounded good, probably the best I’ve heard them. HIDDEN INTENT came on next and did HIDDEN INTENT things. They partied, they thrashed, THEY had a good time, WE had a good time, they played some new stuff, they played some older stuff, they played the best Aussie thrash, which is what they do. Last but not least was old school kings, ALMOST HUMAN. It was so good to see them on stage again , and hear those timeless classics. They know what they’re doing, they were excelling at it before some of you were born. Can’t wait for the next one. Photos are linked below. Cheers.
