I’ve noticed that I really like every ELLENDE release these days. This is another top release of what is labelled Atmospheric Black Metal. It’s quite different from even that norm, with the use of strings and piano, I would label it almost avant-garde. These tunes have a way of working into your soul. A soul is certainly being laid bare on this album. It is raw, it is intense, with many slower, brooding passages which set it apart.
