DIMMU BORGIR may take 8 years between albums these days but that doesn’t mean the albums don’t kick serious butt when they come out. The latest offering, ‘Grand Serpent Rising’, is a brutal slab of Metal that DIMMU BORGIR
specialise in. A cool theatrical instrumental intro, ‘Tridentium’, starts the album before they blast in with ‘Ascent’. From there, it’s epic after epic. ‘As Seen In The Unseen’, is one of my favourites.
Let’s face it, you know who they are by now, you know what they do. They are calling you in. Just go. You know you want to.
