STRIKER are a band that jumped out at me with their last album, ‘Play To Win’ in 2018, impressing me so much I put that album in my ‘Top Albums’ for that year. The most recent album, ‘Ultrapower’ seems to have taken up where that album left off. I think the band raised it a notch, a bit faster in places, a bit heavier, a bit of a nod to their thrashier roots while still maintaining that over-the-top fun edge.
