  So, on Sunday night I went along the The Gov to see THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA. Man, what a gig. I don't think I've seen a crowd with such happy faces everywhere, not even when we took our sons to see The Wiggles. __________

  It's always great to chat with Björn. This time it's about THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA and their upcoming tour of Australia, visiting Adelaide for the first time with the band. We had a good chat about the new album, jetlag, or the lack of it in the Dreamliners, more bodies on stage, vocal challenges in a less extreme band, and Vegemite. Check it out. __________

  I went along to the Lion Arts Factory last Sunday (the 11th) and witnessed an amazing show. I was looking forward to seeing INSOMNIUM for the first time, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. They brought fellow countrymen OMNIUM GATHERUM with them and I must say I was really impressed by them as well. __________

  Another great night watching ROSS THE BOSS and his band perform. Plenty of fist in the air stuff as the classic MANOWAR album, 'Sign Of The Hammer' was given the treatment and the set filled out with other MANOWAR classics. NIGHT LEGION and HEADBORE completed the bill, and both performed in fine fashion. Overall a great night. __________

  I had another cool and very relaxed chat with the legend that is ROSS THE BOSS, about many many things, not the least of which was the memories of the early days of MANOWAR, recording 'Sign Of The Hammer', and touring back in the day, and of course the upcoming Australian ROSS THE BOSS tour, playing the afore-mentioned MANOWAR album in full.   I had a great chat with Anthony Willis from Brisbane's VALHALORE about the excellent new album, 'Beyond The Stars', and getting back out on the road after the album's release. __________

  I went along and saw WINGER the other night here in Adelaide and was entertained by a top quality band. It was 5 musicians all at the top of their game. Never thought I'd find myself at a WINGER show, but here we are. SHOTGUN MISTRESS were support and they got the crowd warmed up nicely.  __________  

  I had a cool relaxed chat with Steven Jones from Scotland's BLEED FROM WITHIN, about how he came about joining the band, the addition of his clean vocals, song construction, his choice of guitars, epic shows he's been involved in, and of course the monster new album, 'Zenith', due out on April 4th. __________

  I chatted with Mark Jansen from EPICA about that big livestream the band did during the covid lockdown, the ensuing tour, and the rollover into writing and recording of the upcoming album, 'Aspiral', being a team player, and sleeping in coffin-like conditions on tour buses. __________
