PATH TO FURY FINAL – Venue upgrade!!
Okay, so this is so nuts it deserves it's own post. You're reading the poster and saying, 'Hang on, what?' Thebby? F***ing Thebby? Yep, Thebby.' This is huge.
PATH TO FURY – Southern Heat – Photos
A full night close to home at Unit 3 in Lonsdale for the Southern Heat of PATH TO FURY. Six bands battled it out again, this time HELL MACHINE and SORROWSTATE were victorious, playing their way through to the final in a few weeks at The Gov.
FROM ASHES TO NEW – Adelaide
A sell-out crowd, a fired-up band, a setlist of crowd favourites, sing-alongs, circle pits, chanting, smoke jets, hands in the air. I guess you could say the gig had it all. Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide was the scene, FROM ASHES TO NEW was the band. It was their first visit to Adelaide and I am certain it won't be their last.
SOEN interview. Tour rescheduled to January 2027.
I had a cool chat with Joel Ekelöf from Swedish prog royalty, SOEN, ahead of their Australian tour. We spoke about the birth of the band, early influences, cool concert experiences, and koalas.

PARADISE LOST interview. Touring soon.
I had a cool chat with Nick Holmes from PARADISE LOST, ahead of their whirlwind Australian tour, beginning in Brisbane on the 18th. We spoke about touring, sleeping on planes, having a break to unwind and reflect, catching up with family, albeit very briefly at times, and cool concert experiences. Check it out.
MONSTERS OF THRASH – Adelaide photos
Late last week the MONSTERS OF THRASH tour came through Adelaide and it was a scene, man! The mighty FLOTSAM & JETSAM graced us with their presence, on their first ever tour of Australia.
PATH TO FURY – Central Heat – Photos
Saturday night saw the first heat to select a local band (or bands, we don't know yet) to be added to the bill for the 2027 FROTH AND FURY FESTIVAL. The Gibson Room at The Gov was packed from start to finish.
KATATONIA interview. Touring Australia in October.
I had an awesome and very relaxed chat with Jonas Renkse from Sweden's KATATONIA ahead of their Australia / NZ tour.
SHREDFEST – Adelaide
I know it was called SHREDFEST, and with shredding, you think guitars, but the unsung heroes of the night were the drummers. Holy crap! Hats off to them. See this tour if you can. You may still have time.
