MORTAL SIN interview – HUGE






I had an awesome and very long chat with Mat Maurer about his time in pioneering Australian thrash band, MORTAL SIN.
There’s not much we didn’t chat about..recording the first album, major
label signing, the Metallica tour, leaving the band, reformations,
Wacken, and of course the upcoming performance at the 6th instalment of Churches Of Steel Festival, January 21st here in Adelaide. Check it out.

KEV RIDDLES interview – ANGEL WITCH / TYTAN / BAPHOMET.



I had a MASSIVE and very entertaining chat with Kev Riddles about his career in music, notably as bassist for NWOBHM bands ANGEL WITCH and TYTAN. We spoke about the ups and downs of then, the in-between times and what he’s doing now with a reformed TYTAN and KEV RIDDLES’ BAPHOMET. It’s a long interview, but to cut it is criminal.

about many things, from seeing VENOM in the very early days, recent
‘Black Metal’ anniversary shows, breaking bass guitars and watching the

I had an excellent chat with Joakim Brodén from SABATON about where the band got the ideas for the songs on the new album, ‘The War To End All Wars’,
then recording the album and making the film clips for it. We also spoke about those
European festivals, and why you should never declare your tank stage
prop as a ‘tank’, rather as a ‘stage prop in the shape of a tank’ on any customs forms. Check it out.
